gothic catMeet “Snarley Monster” – the world’s first Goth kitten (picture left). You won’t find him on one of those inspirational “hang in there” posters, cause it’s not the two 14-gauge ear piercings or the Captive Bead Ring (CBR) through the back of the neck that are weighing him down. It’s society man… it’s society.

But apparently expressing yourself is illegal.

The conformers at the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) have taken Snarley into custody and charged his owner (who was attempting to auction him off on Ebay) with animal cruelty.

Sure piercing your pussy might sound bad, but animal body modification is nothing new. Farmers brand their cattle. Animal researchers tag their subjects. And pet parents clip their claws (an often painful process as I’ve learned from those incessant PediPaws infomercials). So why should this be any different?

Simple. Hatred for all things Goth. Believe me, if we covered him in bling and called him MC Pussy people would eat it up.
