Famed artist Damien Hirst has transformed Rihanna into the mystical monster Medusa for the 25th anniversary of the British edition of GQ.
The magazine wrote:
Damien Hirst is one of the world’s most highly acclaimed living artists. Rihanna is one of the world’s most successful pop icons. To celebrate GQ’s 25th anniversary, these two creative firebrands embarked on an art project the like of which has never been seen before. See the full portfolio, art directed by Damien Hirst, in the special anniversary issue of GQ, on newsstands and available to download from 31 October.
Rihanna wore snake style contacts, wig, fangs and little else! The topless model did have some props though. She posed with pair a live pythons that had the run of her body.
“I love playing with dominant animals! These 2 were double the trouble, but they’re superstars!!!” she posted on her Instagram account.
Rihanna seems to have an affinity for coldblooded animals and I’m not just talking about her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown. She previously wore a crocodile bikini in the music video for “Where Have You Been.”
