The Day of the Doctor previewed at Children in Need (Cybermen painting)
The Children in Need charity event showed an extended look at the art gallery scene from the The Day of the Doctor.

The Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and Clara (Jenna-Louise Coleman) walk past a painting that at first glance appears to be The Raft of the Medusa by Théodore Géricault but the figures have been replaced with Cybermen. It would seem that the Time War is affecting history.

The other paintings are completely missing their figures, which have apparently escaped. Special attention is given to the desert painting, in which there was a figure holding a glowing staff. There’s clearly a connection to the War Doctor (John Hurt) and Rose (Billie Piper) both of whom appear in desert garb in the trailer. Furthermore, Rose had glowing eyes suggesting she still possesses the time vortex power from the TARDIS. Perhaps it’s Bad Wolf but with pictures instead of words?

Unfortunately, the investigation is interrupted by the appearance of a time portal. The Doctor remembers it already happening from the perspective of the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), who is on the other side of the portal. He throws in his fez, which eventually end up back in the museum because even curators know fezzes are cool.
