Super Freddy is a toy collector’s dream come true. The never released character portrayed by Michael Bailey Smith was the ultimate nightmare for a comic book fan in A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child.

Super Freddy will be released for the 25th anniversary of the movie. The 8 inch tall figure is done in a retro style that pays homage to Mego with fabric clothing, removable hat and a blister pack featuring his Superman speech.
“Faster than a bastard maniac. More powerful than a loco madman. It’s Super-Freddy!” he declares before literally ripping the comic book geek to shreds.
The 5,000 pieces limited edition figure will debut at San Diego Comic-Con July 24-27 but a small number will be offered at a later date for those unable to attend.
