Yoshi is the unsung hero of the Super Mario World video game… until now. The underappreciated sidekick vocalizes his true feelings about his so-called friend in a new series by Animation Domination High-Def called “Songs You Didn’t Know had Lyrics.”
The merry melody has surprisingly depressing lyrics regarding Mario’s treatment of Yoshi, specifically how he punches the poor animal in the head to make him extend his tongue and eat things. Sometimes Mario will even jump off Yoshi to save himself from a fall. I guess being Mario’s friend isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
