Film studio The Asylum is trying to stay under the radar with their newest mockbuster, American Battleship. They changed the name to American Warships in response to a lawsuit by Universal Studios that claims they’re infringing on the official Battleship movie. The similarities don’t end there. American Warships also features alien invaders that can only be stopped by an old battleship turned museum. Unlike the Hollywood version though, this low
If you thought it was crock that Rihanna’s new music video, Where Have You Been, didn’t feature more of her crocodile bikini, then you’re in luck. Rihanna has posted behind-the-scenes photos on her facebook page that show her from every angle. She says it took 8 hours to paint the crocodile scales on her body but that’s probably just because the makeup artist was taking his time

“Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” has a new catchphrase. “No one dies,” he vows but that doesn’t mean no one gets hurt. In Amazing Spider-Man #685, he teams up with Silver Sable to stop Doctor Octopus from launching rockets that will supposedly fix the ozone (see: Spider-Man VS Al Gore). When Silver Sable blows up the factory, Spider-man chastises her but then proceeds to literally rip the Rhino a new one.
The only thing Power Girl is known for more than her large breasts is the hole in her costume that displays them. Affectionately known as the boob window, it’s been the source of many jokes over the years. To the point where Power Girl herself was forced to address it. In JSA: Classified #2, Power Girl tells Superman: People always ask me why I have this hole right here. They
Avengers VS X-Men pits the two most powerful superhero teams against each other so you’d think they would be pretty evenly matched but it’s been suspiciously one-sided. X-Men: Versus #1, Namor (king of the oceans) loses to the Thing (who breathes air) in the water!!! He’s defeated by being pinned

Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers is teaming up with former SNL producer Michael Shoemaker to create a new superhero cartoon. Fringe was destined for cancellation the moment Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly revealed “We lose a lot of money on the show.” However, it will get a proper ending. The show has been renewed for an abbreviated season of 13 episodes, which not coincidentally will make a total of 100 episodes (the threshold for syndication). “Fringe is a remarkably creative series that has set the bar as one of television’s
Gym idiots, every gym has them. They’re shallow, selfish, egotistical, attention whores, who wear clothes two sizes too small, slam weights, grunt, and basically think they own the gym. It’s no wonder that so many people are intimidated about working out but there’s a new franchise that promises a “judgment free zone.” Planet Fitness takes this promise very seriously. They have what’s called a Lunk™ Alarm, which lights up and
In last week’s episode of Community “Virtual Systems Analysis,” Inspector Spacetime gets a new companion.
