Jennifer Love Hewitt recently told Maxim that she’s proud of her 36C breasts. “It’s horrible to say, but I like my boobs. They’ve always served me well. They’re good,” said Hewitt.
They’re certainly serving her well in Hewitt’s newest role as a single mom working at a “massage” parlor. Lifetime has been promoting The Client List with a series of provocative photos but they were apparently too sexy for Entertainment Weekly. The magazine Photoshopped out most of her cleavage.
Hewitt says she did not sign off on the edit. “Somebody sent me a copy of the photograph, and I was like, ‘Um, what happened? I’m not quite sure what’s going on, but apparently somebody wanted me to have a boob reduction,” she told KROQ 106.7.
Conservatives aren’t the only ones who want the star to cover up. Massage therapists are petitioning Lifetime to pull the show, which they claim denigrates their profession. Hewitt responded on E! Online: “It’s a TV show. They’re not offended by Dexter or Nurse Jackie, but they’re offended by me giving a happy ending?”
There was a happy ending despite the controversy or perhaps because of it. The Client List premiere was the most watched Lifetime series debut since Drop Dead Diva in 2009.
