The BBC has announced David Tennant and Billie Piper will return for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special.
Presumably, Tennant will be playing the Meta-Crisis Tenth Doctor, a human version of the Doctor who was supposedly trapped forever in a parallel universe with Rose in “Journey’s End.”
This gives rise to yet another Clara Oswin Oswald theory. A tombstone in “The Snowmen” Christmas Special reveals Clara’s birthday is November 23, the Anniversary of Doctor Who. This could be a hint that Eleventh Doctor’s companion is the daughter of the human Doctor and Rose. It would explain her ability to revive like a Time Lord while being consistent with her declaration of humanity in the “Asylum of the Daleks.” Clara Oswin Oswald is an anagram of “a window across all” which may refer to a window across universes.
