Cartoon Network will celebrate the 16th anniversary of its Toonami programming block this week with Evangelion: 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone, an alternate retelling of the television series. The movie features enhancements and extra footage but is faithful to the original story about a boy that reunites with his estranged father, who only cares about using him as a pilot for a giant mecha to fight other giant creatures known as Angels.
