Trick-or-treaters get fat letters this Halloween
Halloween letter for fat kidsA North Dakota woman going by the name Cheryl called into a local radio station to say she will hand out fat letters to obese trick-or-treaters this year. The sealed letters recommend parents ration their children’s Halloween candy.

“I think it’s really irresponsible of parents to just sort of send them out looking for free candy just ’cause all the other kids are doing it,” she told Y94.

The host suggested she hand out toys or stickers but Cheryl says she’ll still give the obese children candy because she doesn’t want to be known as the “mean lady.” She just hopes that listeners will follow her example and come together as a community to make their children healthier.

“It takes a village to raise a child,” she notes in her letter.
