Dead Meat webseries features mutant puppets!
Maxwell Atoms, creator of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, says studios are no longer willing to take chances so he’s pitching his latest project on the crowdfunding website Kickstarter. Atoms plans to keep the cost down by using puppets that can be reused, at least until he blows their heads off.

“If Troma were put in charge of the Muppet Show. It’ll be kind of like that,” he characterizes the webseries.

Dead Meat stars Dana Snyder (Aqua Teen Hunger Force) as Dead Meat, a mutant dog with a mutant hating master named Heck. Both fall in love with Battle Priestess Suzuki Jackson, a mutant prophesied to destroy the world (again).

Dead Meat is definitely an R-rated webseries,” the creator warns. “That means exploding puppets, gross out jokes galore and dialogue taken straight from a sailor’s mouth but don’t worry, I’m not gonna make you watch episode after episode of nothing but puppet gore. That’s one of the features of Dead Meat but it’s not the whole tamale.”

Donating to the project will also get you some killer rewards like a signed box of Billy & Mandy action figures that were only available as an in-house promotion (read: it’s super rare).
