Business Insider makes monster pornYou know what they say about guys with big feet and who has bigger feet than Bigfoot? The giant thing is just one of many mythological monsters that has women swooning over cryptozoological erotica, or monster porn books.

The genre recently gained attention when Amazon removed the mostly self-published books in response to article titled “An Epidemic of Filth.” The books have since returned after the authors changed the provocative titles such as Cum for Bigfoot to Moan For Bigfoot, which is currently being offered for free to help with a different kind of exposure possibly. The sanitized listings mean lower search results and less revenue.

Author K.J. Burkhardt told Business Insider her monthly earnings have plummeted from $2,000 to $400. Making the book descriptions ambiguous is also counter intuitive Burkhardt added.

“I want readers to know exactly what they are buying when they make a purchase and not be surprised and offended later because I couldn’t say the book contains explicit sex with monsters,” she explained.

To help illustrate the exact nature of monster porn, Business Insider reenacted a scene from Burkhardt’s Taken by the Monsters: An Erotic Monster Tale. They used children’s toys to tell the story but that only makes it more disturbing. I keep waiting for the narrator to say ‘Show me on the doll where Bigfoot touched you.’
