Patrick Stewart stuns Star Trek fans on American Dad (I Ain't No Holodeck Boy)

Patrick Stewart is best known as Captain Jean-Luc Picard from the television series Star Trek: The Next Generation but his character on American Dad couldn’t more different if he was from the Mirror Universe. Stewart plays Deputy Director Avery Bullock, a perverted CIA agent who rarely plays by the book as opposed to the reserved captain who lives by the Prime Directive. American Dad boldly uses Stewart to mock fanboys in “I Ain’t No Holodeck Boy.”

Bullock shows Stan (Seth MacFarlane) a room that projects holograms on force fields to create uncanny virtual reality simulations like the Holodeck on Star Trek. The reference is lost on Bullock, who berates him for being a Trekkie.

“Some of us spent the late 80s and early 90s getting laid, Smith,” explains Bullock, who moments earlier implied he had sex at an all boys boarding school.

Barry plays Outside video game on American Dad (I Ain't No Holodeck Boy)

Stan tries to relax in front of the TV when he gets home for work but Steve (Scott Grimes) and his friends are playing video games. He tells them to play outside. Barry says they already played Outside and Outside II referring to video games.

Stan decides to force them to play outside by locking them in the Holodeck but the boys turn the tables on Stan by making him relive discovering his first dead body. It turn out to be a happy memory so they reprogram the simulation and bring the dead back to life as zombies!

American Dad airs Sunday, 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
