Lesbians Faking It in threesome (Rita Volk)
High school friends Karma (Katie Stevens) and Amy (Rita Volk) want to be popular so when they’re mistaken for lesbians and voted homecoming Queens, they pretend to be a couple in the MTV series Faking It. Amy is initially opposed to the idea but then she starts having real feelings for her friend. Karma, on the other hand, falls for the school’s womanizer, Liam (Gregg Sulkin). He too develops feelings for Karma and doesn’t want to hurt her relationship with Amy. Karma insists they have open relationship and suggests they have a threesome in “Three to Tango.”

Amy agrees to go through with it in order to find out if her BFF has feelings for her but Karma reveals that she expects Amy to excuse herself at the last second. Unfortunately, Karma gets nervous and her friend has to take the lead by disrobing, revealing a body that belies her butch status. Amy slow undresses Karma, who is frozen like a deer in very sexy headlights. She passionately kisses Karma to the very appropriately titled song “Honeysuckle (Milwaukee)” by Canon Blue.

The love connection is interrupted by Liam, who follows the advice of his bros to kiss the other girl first so that she doesn’t feel neglected. Amy is receptive, casting further doubt on her sexuality. The kiss is so hot that Karma gets jealous and walks out. Liam and Amy presumably call it quits and so do Amy and Karma. The girls decide to break up for real.

“The scene probably should have taken about 30 minutes but after kissing them a few times, I requested that we did many more times. So we kind of did for a few hours,” joked Sulkin.

The sexy scene was actually completed in only one take revealed Executive Producer Carter Covington.

“I really wanted that kiss between them to have a lot of meaning so I thought we were going to have to do many takes but one we used was their first take,” Covington explained. “It just had a sensuality to it that you can understand why Amy has hope that Karma feels the same way for her.”

Faking It airs Tuesday 10:30 p.m. on MTV.
