International Coffee Day usually just means a free cup of coffee but Dunkin’ Donuts will pay you $5,000 if you do the grinding. Now that’s a perk! The company is running a dance contest featuring “Clap Your Hands” by Richey Lam. Record yourself dancing to song and share it on social media using the hashtag #DDanceForDarkRoast.
The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 check, while 10 first prize winners will receive a 3-month supply of Dark Roast coffee awarded in the form of 5 $100 Dunkin’ Donuts Cards.
Contestants will judged 50% for overall appeal and 25% each for originality and adherence to contest theme.
Tips:
Feature adorable kids.
Wear a coffee cup costume or barista costume.
Incorporate a flash mob.
Shoot it at an actual Dunkin’ Donuts.
Badmouth Starbucks but don’t specifically name or use their logo for legal concerns.
Contest is open to legal US residents 18+ and ends October 12 (official rules).
