The Simpsons won’t be cancelled anytime soon reveals the couch gag in the season premiere “Clown in the Dumps.” Homer finds a high tech remote control that controls time. He sets the clock back to 1987 and transforms himself into his initial design on The Tracey Ullman Show.
Homer also checks out the far flung future of 10,535 when episodes are beamed into your exo-skull. The Simpsons have become barely recognizable with the exceptions of Marge’s love for her family and Homer’s catchphrase “D’oh,” which is all he says now.
The Simpsons airs Sunday at 8PM on Fox.
