Funny or Die is warning kids about the Snackpocalypse! The anti-obesity PSA is a Divergent parody starring Chloe Grace Moretz (Kick-Ass) and Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf) as the only healthy students at their school. Clark Duke (Kick-Ass) plays the student president, who gets elected by promising free snack machines and actual soda fountains. The excessive junk food makes the students sick to the shock of the incompetent school nurse portrayed by Sufe Bradshaw (Veep). First Lady Michelle Obama makes a cameo at the end to criticize the typical spoiler trailer. Let’s hoped those obese kids eat up this propaganda as readily as they do teen movies.
President Obama has declared September National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month as part of the White House Let’s Move! campaign.
“As a Nation, we have a responsibility to ensure our children have every chance to fulfill their potential, and that starts by providing them with the opportunities to make healthy choices,” the President explained. “This month, we build on our progress and raise awareness of the benefits of healthy eating and active living so our children can lead prosperous and productive lives.”
