Lauren Cohan and Steven Yeun are husband and wife in the zombie apocalypse series The Walking Dead and that’s the way she like it. Cohan told GQ that given the choice she’d date Yeun because he’s the funniest character on the show.
“I think that’s the most important thing about a date,” she explained. “I don’t need serious conversation. If I spend an entire evening not really talking about anything but I’ve laughed a lot then it’s golden.”
Cohan added that she’s “old-fashioned.” She expects the man to ask her out and pick up the tab.
That wasn’t all the sexy star revealed during the photo shoot. She looked drop dead gorgeous in all her outfits but especially in white see-though top that showed off her breasts. Men everywhere are drooling like zombies.
Cohan looked equally hot while shooting the new season. The sweaty actress glistened as she explained the physical progression of her character to Entertainment Weekly.
“I feel like in the beginning we always knew that Maggie was a physically strong person,” Cohan said. “She’s a farm girl. She would have been doing work on the farm. But where we’ve gotten to by season 5 now is that she is so dependent on that physical strength. Like that’s all she is, almost. They live a pretty barbaric life. She’s definitely still a sensitive vulnerable person, but I feel like we’re kind of all animals now.”
Fortunately, she won’t have to struggle alone. Maggie and Glenn finally reunited at the cannibal camp Terminus. Both agreed stars agreed their characters are better off together even if it is inside a larder for people.
“Are they better together but in peril, or separately but free?” Cohan pondered. “I think that really Maggie and Glenn are better together. Even if it’s the most perilous situation you know that they’ll find a way out of it — or at least you hope that they’ll find a way out of it. They spent a lot of time trying to find each last year — it’s like, no more!”
Yeun gave a similar answer that suggests the two of them might be compatible in real life.
“I think the preference is to be together regardless of whether the circumstances are difficult,” he told us at the EW photo shoot. “At the least, you’re with the person that matters the most to you in this world. At this point, what your world has become — that is your world. Your world is who your with. The world is the people that you love. If it’s not with them, the what’s the point of continuing on?”
People often assume they’re a couple when hang out off-set but they’re just friend she told Rolling Stone.
“There are entire websites dedicated to the proof that Steven and I are in a real relationship,” she noted. “Which is always funny, because it’s not.”
But they could be if Yeun reads between the lines and man up just like on the show.
