I just signed up but so far so good. They transferred the site for free within an hour of a ticket submitted at midnight. Immediately after the transfer I received an email about malware.
“Our systems performed a routine malware/virus scan on your account and unfortunately located infected/malicious files. We’ve automatically moved the infected files(s) out of your public_html directory into a safe, quarantined directory.”
I reported a problem about malware to my old host Certified Hosting a while back but they wouldn’t help because I didn’t pay for their backup service or security service. I ended up dealing with it myself but apparently something was missed and may have contributed to resource problems. It’s funny that I received more help from Hawk Host’s automated service than Certified Hosting’s technical support.
TL;DR
This is without a doubt the best priced semi-dedicated plan out there. You can’t beat 50% off for life except Hawk Host does! If you upgrade your plan, you still keep the 50% off! Shared, Reseller and VPS hosting have coupons for as much as 80% off but it’s a ONE time discount and requires a signing up for a 6 months to 1 year so keep that in mind.
