Barack Obama is usually a mild-mannered president but when he looses his temper, he transforms into The Rock Obama portrayed once again by Saturday Night Live host Dwayne Johnson. The President (Jay Pharoah) holds a meeting with House Speaker John Boehner (Taran Killam), Senator Tom Cotton (Kyle Mooney) and Senator Ted Cruz (Bobby Moynihan). He implores them to show a united front rather than swooning over Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Not to be rude Mr. President but the only reason I invited Prime Minister Netanyahu was because I wanted to meet a world leader whose people actually respect him,” Boehner mocks him.
The last straw is when Cotton mention’s that the President’s bracket is busted. Obama hulks out and tears his clothes a la the Incredible Hulk television show. Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz gets the worst of his fury but he’s saved by Michelle Obama (Sasheer Zamata), who has her own anger issues. When a Secret Service agent (Beck Bennett) reports a problem with the White House garden, she transforms into She Rock Obama (Leslie Jones).
The original sketch was the just the fanciful dream of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel (Andy Samberg), who wanted his boss to get angry and fight back.
