Sharknado 3 Oh Hell No Shark tornado Lincoln Memorial

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! likens itself to other great trilogies like The Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight and The Godfather but none of those movies had this sort of star power. This will be the biggest sharknado yet, affecting the entire East Coast starting in Washington, D.C. where a wayward shark finds itself in the lap of the Lincoln Memorial. The president himself will make a cameo as portrayed by Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. It will also feature real political figures like political commentator Ann Coulter as the Vice President and former Representative Michele Bachmann as herself.

This time the weather event will feature a shark filled fognado according to TV Guide.

“Fin has to once again has to be resourceful to get out of this predicament–which may or may not include the help of his trusty chain saw,” said star Ian Ziering, who reprises his role as our shark slicing hero Fin Shepard.

Fin will have help guarding the lives of his friends. Baywatch legend David Hasselhoff plays Fin’s father, Gilbert Grayson “Gil” Shepard, shown in a separate teaser. Fin’s wife April (Tara Reid) will also get a visit from her mother portrayed by Bo Derek, who coincidentally made her film debut in Orca.

Syfy is appealing to NASCAR fans with cameos by drivers Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano. Keselowski blurts out the movie title as a flying shark descends upon him in the trailer. Logano’s line is slightly less memorable.

“That,” is all he says presumably before being killed by that.

“I just kind of went along with it and as I learned more about what it’s about, it became funnier to me, so we filmed it when we were in California, outside the XFINITY garage, a little bit down toward the end there, and I got one line — my big line — so I’m going to Hollywood,” Logano told NASCAR. “I actually saw our part — the whole NASCAR part — and it’s pretty funny. I don’t know if it’s supposed to be funny, but it’s really funny to me.”

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! premieres Wednesday 9PM, July 22 on Syfy.
