Jay Leno fills in for Jimmy Fallon on Tonight Show

Jay Leno made a surprise guest appearance on The Tonight Show while shooting in Los Angeles this week. Leno tagged in during the monologue to deliver risqué humor on the presidential race. He joked that it’s a good thing Hillary Clinton has been tested considering her husband’s infidelity. The republicans got the money shot though.

“Ted Cruz’s campaign pulled one of their TV commercials cause the actress in the ad was a porn star,” Leno explained. “The campaign said they hired the porn star cause they thought she could make Ted Cruz easier to swallow.”

The audience oohed but the comedian was unfazed.

“I don’t care. They can’t fire me,” noted the former host of The Tonight Show.

Leno quickly absconded but was dragged back to fill in for Snoop Dog, who was stuck in LA traffic.

“Just when you think you’re out, they pull you back in,” he quoted The Godfather Part III.

Leno recounted his recent performance for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, which requires slightly more highbrow humor. His handlers insisted no mockery, no ridicule, no insults.

“They told me I couldn’t do any mockery, any ridicule, any insults…so goodnight everybody,” he joked but the geniuses took it literally.
