Simpsons 3am phone call Hillary Clinton Donald Trump

The Simpsons have a marital spat over whether to vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump in a new online exclusive. Marge makes up her mind to vote for Hillary after watching a parody of her infamous “3 a.m. phone call” campaign ad against Barack Obama in 2008.

Trump is indifferent despite the presumed urgency of the call. Trump’s wife, Melania, is noticeably absent from their bed and a book by Adolf Hitler is in her place. His grandiose bedroom is adorned with a portrait of a controversial photo of Trump’s sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, killing a leopard while on safari in Zimbabwe. Trump is shown without makeup to have a bald head, pale skin and small hands, which is apparently a touchy subject for the egomaniac. He reportedly became self-conscious after Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter called Trump a “short-fingered vulgarian.” Presidential candidate Marco Rubio followed up by suggesting something else must be small, which garnered a very unpresidential response from Trump about the size of his penis.

Homer initially decides to vote Trump until Marge threatens to withhold sex.

“And that’s how I became a Democrat,” he declares.

Hillary campaigning in Springfield?

Liberal politics aside, executive producer Al Jean may have an ulterior motive.

“We’ve tried to get a president,” Jean revealed at Comic-Con this year. “And we’ve never gotten one. The only response we ever got was Ronald Reagan signed a nice letter to us saying ‘I appreciate what you do but I’m not gonna do it.'”

Bill looks at least his age but Hillary is much younger. In fact, she appears to be a brunette, which she hasn’t been since entering public serve. Could this be an attempt to appeal to her vanity and woo her into making a guest appearance. Hillary already appeared in an episode of Broad City is Springfield next?
