In the latest episode of Mickey Mouse Shorts, “Ghoul Friend,” Mickey’s car breaks down in the middle of a cemetery where he encounters a zombie Goofy! It’s surprisingly graphic for a children’s cartoon. There are visible flies hovering over its rotting flesh. Like any good slasher movie, no matter how fast Mickey runs he can’t escape the slow moving monster. Fortunately, Goofy just wants to lend a hand, literally. Mickey uses a bone wrench to fix the car.
