It seems even dream houses get foreclosed on. Mattel’s newest doll lives in her car. Gwen Thompson is a limited edition doll from the popular American Girl collection, which come with in-depth biographical storybooks. Gwen’s book explains how she and her mom were evicted after her dad walked out on them.
Not surprisingly the homeless doll doesn’t come with a lot of accessories but she does have panhandling grip! If you want to brush your $95 doll’s hair it’ll cost you another $7 for the brush or $20 for a salon visit. But all the money goes to a good cause: keeping Mattel executives in their dream houses.
