After watching Seth Green’s Robot Chicken: DC Comics Special you’re probably thinking: “Where does he get those wonderful toys?”
The doll-like action figures used in the show are a combination of classic toys by Mego (pronounced “ME-go”) called “World’s Greatest Superheroes!” and a recent relaunch of the toy line by Mattel called “Retro-Action DC Super Heroes.” The former are exceedingly rare, not to mention expensive, but the latter can still be found, some for less than the original $19.99 price tag (and not just Aquaman).
Retro-Action DC Super Heroes are faithful to the original toys, right down to the vintage bubble packaging. The 8″ figures are fully poseable and feature removable clothing so you can recreate all those inappropriate moments.
