Street Fighter Assassin's Fist trailer shows origin of Ken and Ryu

Director Joey Ansah’s new web series Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist reveals the origins of the series’ main characters: Ryu and Ken.

Two new trailers feature the badasses as baby-faced boys. Ryu and Ken become brothers and rivals when they are adopted and trained by Gouken (Akira Koieyama). As adults, they couldn’t be more different. Ryu (Mike Moh) locks his emotions away. While Ken (Christian Howard) is a brash young man eager to prove himself. Their distinct perspectives are a result of the same event: the loss of their parents. Each trailer ends with Ryu and Ken performing their special attacks Hadoken and Shoryuken but Ken’s has as a post-credits scene where he shows off his cocky attitude.

Street Fighter Assassin’s Fist debuts on the Machinima YouTube channel in May 2014, before hitting TV, On-demand and DVD/Blu-ray.
