The Daily Bugle recently reported about a bank robber shaking off a vault door suggesting a possible Shocker cameo in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but he was quickly apprehended and incarcerated at Ryker’s Island.
The Bugle reported breaking news today that the Shocker is on the loose after blasting a hole through the prison walls using vibrating gauntlets built in the prison’s workshop. A prison guard speculated that he had outside help escaping.
“He couldn’t have just pointed his wrist-things at the water and vibrated his way over the East River, could he?” the guard said on the condition of anonymity.
The prison break was presumably orchestrated by the supervillain team the Sinister Six, which has also been teased in the movie trailers.
