Hayley (Rachael MacFarlane) will reunite with her boyfriend Jeff (Jeff Fischer) in the American Dad season finale “The Longest Distance Relationship.”
Jeff was abducted by aliens last season in “Naked to the Limit, One More Time.” Roger (Seth MacFarlane) orchestrated it when the blabbermouth finally realized that he was an alien and not his imaginary friend.
Hayley falls into depression on the anniversary of the abduction but in typical fashion Roger makes it all about him. He bakes an anniversary cake to celebrate his decision to stay on Earth.

Hayley cheers up when she meets a rebound boyfriend while in the hospital. She sticks up for the janitor, Matt Davis, who is a parody of actor Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting. Matt explains that he’s actually a millionaire but he chooses to work a different job everyday for the experience.
Hayley and Matt hit it off until she learns that Jeff is alive and returning to Earth. Stan schemes to make the millionaire part of the family, even if means marrying off his youngest daughter Ramona (i.e.; Roger in drag).

Jeff manages to make contact with Earth on a CB radio. Hayley finds it increasingly difficult to maintain their long distance relationship but she promises to wait for Jeff when he finds a wormhole that will make the journey home instantaneous… for him. He arrives in the future where he’s greeted by an elderly Hayley. Jeff realizes that she has wasted her life waiting for him so he goes back through the wormhole and reverses time. He contacts Hayley one last time to tell her to move one. Matt shows up to ask Hayley out but he’s immediately stabbed to death by Roger.
American Dad season finale airs Sunday 7:30 p.m. on Fox.
Season 11 will premiere in July on TBS.
