Norman Bates (Freddie Highmore) gets a makeover on Bates Motel. The season finale debuted his split personality that allowed him to beat a lie detector test regarding the murder of his high school teacher, Blair Watson (Keegan Connor Tracy). Norman’s mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) convinces him that she was the one who killed Miss Watson. He reconciles his memories by becoming his mother.
The season 3 trailer opens with Norman obsessing over his mother’s lingerie and putting on lipstick. The momma’s boy even sleeps in her bed. Norma is chastised for the inappropriate behavior by her estranged son Dylan (Max Thieriot), who recently learned his father is Norma’s brother.
Another promo shows Norman and Norma dancing to the incestuous lyrics: “Momma’s gonna give you love.” Their bodies merge indicating Norman has gone psycho!
Bates Motel season 3 premieres Monday 9PM, March 9 on A&E.
