Catwoman is notoriously protective of her feline friends as a molester found out first hand at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. An unidentified man dressed as a zombie tried to literally get some tail from fitness model Alicia Marie, who was cosplaying as Tigra. He was thwarted by America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry in a very realistic Catwoman costume complete with a whip that she used to strike him across the face.
“I am just thankful and happy I have friends that don’t even have to put a costume on to be superheroes,” Marie posted on Whosay.
The assault wasn’t an isolated incident. Curry was personally groped while dressed as Poison Ivy earlier in the convention. The men in the crowd were less than heroic she told Toofab.
“What I’m really disappointed with is the lack of reaction from the men around me,” Curry excoriated them. “Here are women screaming and defending themselves, me and two of my friends, and all the guys are like ‘Oh yeah, look at that. Look at that. That chick just got molested, cool, right on.’ Step up gentlemen because chicks are gonna stop portraying cosplay characters if you guys don’t do something.”
Curry voiced similar concerns to TMZ, which provided a simple 3-step guide on how to be a gentleman so you don’t ruin it for everyone. It probably could have been just the one-step: Don’t molest women!
